Both Zoom and Google Meet have apps for your smartphone, either iOS or Android; I recommend using them if using a PC isn’t the best option.
FREEDOM TO CHOOSE from Science of Mind Magazine 7/4/20
Happy Independence Day, fellow Americans. Today I am thinking about what the members of the Continental Congress did in 1776- and how it must have seemed crazy and impossible to almost everyone. How much easier it would have been to live in the world they had been given. Let’s give thanks that there were enough men of the time who had the vision and courage to see a brighter future and to declare their freedom. These were radical revolutionaries.
Every day we get to forge our own personal declaration of independence: freedom from anything, including our own past beliefs, that would make us small or keep us in limitation of any kind. Every day we get to explore the power of the universe that expresses in and as us. What use shall we make of it today ? What use shall we allow to be made of our presence in the world?
I imagine that many times our choices could seem crazy and impossible to others. Well-intentioned friends and family may sound alarms of caution and good sense. If our Founding Fathers had listened to such advice, I wonder if America would still be a British protectorate. Living a life of choice- consciously and deliberately–is what being a Religious Scientist is all about. I kind of like to think of myself as a revolutionary of Spirit. It beats the heck out of the world I used to believe in. Let freedom ring !
